“Satèn” title has been introduced in 1990 in Franciacorta, in order to remember softness of silk, and the “satinato” colour, due to a minor quantity of sugar added in the liqueur de tirage. The Franciacorta Satèn il Mosnel is produced only with Chardonnay grapes and its bouquet is intense and refined, in addition to scents of white flowers, mature white fruit, and light memories of honey and vanilla. Its taste is full, soft and elegant, endowed with freshness and persistence: so, it is perfect if drunk as appetizer, or in combination with high level cuisine, grilled or backed fishes.
