Pas Operé Franciacorta docg Extra Brut Bellavista 2016

Franciacorta Pas Operè by Bellavista is a full-bodied and intense sparkling wine, made with 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected; they come from the best plots of the winery, all planted more than 30 years ago. Refined and elegant wine, it shows a beautiful straw yellow color tending to golden and an elegant and persistent perlage. The bouquet is composite and harmonious, with hints of honey, citrus, ripe yellow fruits, vanilla. The mouthfeel is fresh, elegant, refined and well balanced, characterized by a long, persistent and pleasing aftertaste. Franciacorta Pas Operè by Bellavista has a great ageing potential and is surely great with appetizers or in combination with fish main courses, raw fish and coquillages. 

‘Understand the potentialities in order to reach the excellence’: this is the philosophy of Bellavista’s cave, that all along it has respected and expressed this idea. Bellavista cave takes the name from the hill, where it is situated: it looks out into the Iseo Lake and the Alpi. This winery rises in 1977 in Franciacorta for want of Vittorio Moretti, who decided to transform the familiar property in a little cave, where it was possible to produce wine. This last has an important value for Vittorio Moretti, it is a moment where the experience becomes a destination.
