Passito wine produced with Arneis grapes, it shows a wonderful and brilliant yellow colour. With its sweetness, the smell is strong and complex with hints of dried fig, date, dried apricot, honey and citrus. This wine is soft and velvety, balanced, with a lasting ending, it is perfect if combined with patisserie, cheese with bluish-green veins or seasoned (served with honey or jam), biscuits and chocolate.
The estate of Cascina Chicco has deep roots in the heart of the Roero and it explains the old rural culture and the passion for vineyards and wine of this territory. His consolidated tradition of wine makers has increased both by oenological modern competences, and by the other vineyards’ acquisitions in the most famous regions of the Roero. Today Cascina Chicco cultivates 35 hectares of vineyards all in hill, and the estate gains, with a great satisfaction, a huge production of Arneis, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Roero, Barbera d’Alba, Favorita and Brachetto.
