Spumante Extra Brut Cuvèe Zero Rosé Cascina Chicco 2016

Interesting rosé sparkling wine, grown from Nebbiolo grapes through a traditional method, called “champenoise”. It presents a wonderful, brilliant pink colour, while its smell reveals elegant perfumes of blueberry, violet, little mixed berries, yeasts and honey. This wine is fresh and persistent, and it combines perfectly with row fish, refined salami as ham.

The estate of Cascina Chicco has deep roots in the heart of the Roero and it explains the old rural culture and the passion for vineyards and wine of this territory. His consolidated tradition of wine makers has increased both by oenological modern competences, and by the other vineyards’ acquisitions in the most famous regions of the Roero. Today Cascina Chicco cultivates 35 hectares of vineyards all in hill, and the estate gains, with a great satisfaction, a huge production of Arneis, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Roero, Barbera d’Alba, Favorita and Brachetto.
