Matteo Correggia Langhe doc is produced with grapes harvested in the heart of Roero area and Canale. This Sauvignon wine expresses a strong personality. Balanced and well-structured, it owns a light straw-yellow colour with green reflexes. Moreover, it shows a strong perfume with scent of grass, peach and citrus. Sapid and persistent, this kind of wine is ideal as appetizer or in combination with shellfish or white meat.

Manufacturer

Matteo Correggia

The cave of Matteo Correggia produces a huge choice of wines with its grapes that derive from 20 hectares of vineyards. The wines are sons of soils, where the vineyards have their roots: sandy soils, poor of clay and of silt, but rich in mineral sails and so appropriate for the production of elegant wines and also rich and refined bouquets. Matteo Correggia inherited the cave of his family in 1985 and he decided to carry on an ambitious project: that is make and produce wines of quality in an underrated territory. Today the cave is managed by Ornella Costa, wife of Matteo, who is dead very soon.
