Description

Piasa San Maurizio Moscato d'Asti DOCG 2025 is a sweet and aromatic wine produced by the excellent Forteto della Luja winery, located in the Piedmontese hills of Asti, a region renowned for Moscato cultivation. Made from 100% Moscato grapes, this wine expresses all the freshness and liveliness typical of this variety. It is a lightly sparkling wine with an intense and refined aroma, ideal for those who enjoy sweet yet balanced wines. In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections, accompanied by a fine, creamy, and persistent perlage. On the nose, aromas of orange blossom, peach, and citrus stand out, complemented by delicate hints of honey and exotic fruits. On the palate, it is fresh and aromatic, light and harmonious, with a sweetness balanced by a pleasant acidity that enhances its drinkability. Piasa San Maurizio Moscato d'Asti is perfect when paired with dry pastries, fruit tarts and ice cream, and is also excellent as an elegant and refreshing aperitif.

The cave goes back up 1700 and in the past it was only used to produce a little part of wine for personal use, while the other part was sold....
