More info

Elegant Barbaresco wine produced with Nebbiolo grapes coming from the “Currà” vineyard, in the district of Neive. The colour is a dark red one, with some ruby red nuances; the smell is intense and complex, with a bouquet of blueberries, strawberries, violet, spices. It is a wine endowed with elegance, freshness and softness, with persistence: it is excellent if drunk in combination with important second courses, as roasts and braised beef, or in alternative seasoned cheeses.

Manufacturer

Sottimano

Sottimano’s winery bought the Cottà country house in 1975, but it increased its sizes, following the purchases of other near territories. The cave is a family-run-business and today it is managed by Andrea, who is an oenologist like his father, who cultivates the 14 hectares of vineyards, collocated on the hills of Neive and these vineyards belong to Andrea’s family. In this cave Andrea produces four types of Barbaresco wines and two of Dolcetto, with the add of Barbera and Brachetto’s wine production.
