Description

The Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano by Produttori del Barbaresco is a well-balanced and harmonious wine, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the “Montestefano” vineyard in the municipality of Barbaresco. Ruby red in colour with garnet and orange hues, it offers an elegant and complex bouquet on the nose, with fruity aromas and delicate notes of violet, wild rose, oriental spices and liquorice. The palate is fruity and fresh, with a warm, smooth character, good structure and remarkable aromatic intensity. Its finish is distinctly mineral. Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano by Produttori del Barbaresco is an excellent match for red meat dishes, duck breast, feathered game and aged cheeses. A Barbaresco Riserva of great structure and depth, expressing the distinctive character of the prestigious Montestefano cru. International critics praise its concentration, aromatic complexity and firm tannic structure, supported by freshness and persistence. A wine of remarkable character, with outstanding ageing potential.
