Pinot Nero Villa Nigra Cornel Riserva Colterenzio 2015

Pleasant Pinot Nero wine grown from grapes coming from the “Schwarzhaus" (black house, in Latin Villa Nigra) estate. This wine has a purple colour with ruby red colour, while it has an elegant bouquet with scents of raspberries, cherry, blackberries, jams, refined spices. Moreover, this wine is mature, with a great structure and elegant tannins; in fact, it is perfect in combination with white meats, game, fresh and medium seasoned cheeses.

The Colterenzio winery was established in 1960 by 28 wine makers, and in the course of the time more and more producers have added to them until the 300 of today: they work in a surface of 300 hectares. The quality of soils, as well as the wine of this locality was recognized around 15 before Christ., when Cornelius lodged there by laying the foundations for the Colterenzio vineyards. The cornerstones of the winery’s philosophy are naturalness, respect for traditions and use of modern technologies, in fact the three kind of wines that the cave produces, follow these ideas: there are classic wine, that people can drink everyday, Praedium wines, that are produced by Oltradige vineyards, and the great Cornell wines which have an enormous international value.
