LUX Vitis Tenuta Luce Marchesi de Frescobaldi 2020

Lux Vitis Tenuta Luce by Marchesi Frescobaldi is an exceptional red wine produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from a vineyard planted in Montalcino in 2004, whit a small part of Sangiovese. Produced for the first time in 2015, it ages in new French oak barriques for 24 months before being put on the market. Endowed with a beautiful intense ruby red color, in the nose it expresses a fine and complex bouquet, broad and fruity, characterized by notes of red currants and ripe fruit, accompanied by hints of violet and cocoa. In the mouth, it is soft and full-bodied, with a pleasant freshness and elegant, enveloping tannins. Featuring a long and persistent finish, accompanied by notes of coffee and aromatic herbs, Lux Vitis Tenuta Luce by Marchesi Frescobaldi is perfect for accompanying roast meats, game and mature cheeses.

The first wine’s production of this cave goes back up the year 1300 in the Estate of Castiglioni in Pesa Valley, in Firenze. From the beginning, the Marchesi de Frescobaldi are famous for the quality and the typicalness of their wines, in fact some artists as Donatello were attracted by these wine makers. Today the wine makers of this cave believe in the respect of the territory, by investing in the competence of human resources.
