Gewürztraminer Colterenzio 2019

It is a kind of wine with a seductive character, produced with grapes coming from selected vineyards, which shows a straw yellow colour with golden nuances. The wine has an intense, spiced perfume, with the addition of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, with a balanced taste, good structure and correct acidity. The wine is perfect if served as appetizer, or accompanied with fish dinners, shellfish, grilled fish, and with meat, too.

The Colterenzio winery was established in 1960 by 28 wine makers, and in the course of the time more and more producers have added to them until the 300 of today: they work in a surface of 300 hectares. The quality of soils, as well as the wine of this locality was recognized around 15 before Christ., when Cornelius lodged there by laying the foundations for the Colterenzio vineyards. The cornerstones of the winery’s philosophy are naturalness, respect for traditions and use of modern technologies, in fact the three kind of wines that the cave produces, follow these ideas: there are classic wine, that people can drink everyday, Praedium wines, that are produced by Oltradige vineyards, and the great Cornell wines which have an enormous international value.
