This is a perfumed Riesling with a straw yellow colour with green nuances: it presents a mineral and fruited bouquet, with some apple’ and lime’s hints. The wine is endowed with a balanced taste, besides a good structure and acidity. Moreover this wine has a great capacity of aging, able to develop the complexity and richness of its aroma after 5-6 years; it is perfect if drunk in combination with fish dinners, sea food, smoked fish.
Palliser Estate is situated in Martinborough, well-known wine locality arranged on the Baia Palliser hills, in the Northern area of New Zealand. The first vineyards were planted in 1884 and then little by little this cave is grown, even if it has not reached big sizes. Today the estate takes up 60 hectares of vineyards and now it is updating from a biological viewpoint. This winery is specialized in the production of Riesling, white Sauvignon and black Pinot, and these wines are able to join all the exotic tastes and strong perfumes that characterize the New Zealand.
