Fumin doc Ottin 2015

The Fumin of Ottini is an elegant and well balanced red wine, that shows a great ruby red color with violet reflexes. The sens of smell is important and composite, with notes of mixed berries, prune, cherries and jam. The taste is complex and persistent, with a good structure and acidity. With a long final, it is perfect if drunk with red meat, the classical “polenta valdostana” or medium aging cheeses. 

The Ottin winery born from the passion of a young farmer for the wine and for his land. It was founded by Elio Ottin in the early nineties, after his studies at the Institut Agricole Régional Agrarian and at the Institute Agrarian of Verzuolo. The Ottin wines have great personality and they are produced by wineyards situated between 550 and 700 m of altitude, cultivated according to techniques that have respect for the ambient. The wines of the Ottin winery are full of character and represent in the best way the Vallée d'Aoste terroir.
