More info

The Bourgogne Chardonnay of Domaine Guy Amiot et Fils is a complex and very expressive wine, made with Chardonnay grapes grown in the municipality of Chassagne Montrachet and carefully selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar. After an aging of 10 months in French oak barrels at the natural temperature of the cellar of 13-14°, at the sight it shows a beautiful straw yellow color with green reflections. The nose develops an elegant and fine bouquet, with floral and fruity notes, on a slightly mineral background. With a pleasing freshness and intensity, the mouthfeel is rich and complex with aromas of white fruit. The Borgogna Chardonnay of Domaine Guy Amiot et Fils is perfect to drink in combination with fish courses or fresh cheeses.

Domaine Guy Amiot et Fils

The Domaine Guy Amiot et Fils, now managed by Guy Amiot with the help of his son Thierry, is one of the best domaine de la Côte de Beaune. It is located in Chassagne-Montrachet, a small town with less than 500 inhabitants where some of the best white wines in the world are produced. The first vineyards were acquired in 1920, many of which are located within the Grand Cru Montrachet, one of the most famous appellations of the Côte de Beaune. The new cellar, finished in 1995, is characterized by special elliptical vaults, ideal for the natural maturation of wines, in the limestone rock of "Les Caillerets" hill.
