More info

Barolo Brunate by Oddero is produced with Nebbiolo grapes, whose vineyards follow the organic principles. Brunate cru is located on the hills around La Morra, in the heart of Langhe. After the ageing in oak barrels, it is kept one year in bottle before being placed on the market. It strikes at the sight with a bright ruby red colour with garnet reflexes. The bouquet is intense with notes of rose, violet black currant and black cherry. The taste is dry and persistent. The tannic structure is delicate; it’s a wine with a good ageing potential, to be paired with courses based on game and mature cheese.

Manufacturer

All along Oddero family is owner of vineyards, so it is very difficult to establish a precise beginning of the wine making process. Lorenzo and Luigi started to produce wine at the end of 800, starting from their vineyards of La Morra. Giacomo Oddero, grandfather of the present manager of this cave, took part of the International Exposition of Torino in 1991, where he proposed his Barolo wine. Presently the winery is carried on by Mariacristina and Mariavittoria, who have inherited by their father the cult of wine and its origins.
