Langhe Riesling doc Oddero 2019

Langhe Riesling by Oddero is a fresh and citrus wine produced with Rhine Riesling grapes grown in Località San Biagio, near La Morra, in the heart of Barolo production area. This wine presents a beautiful pale yellow color, with slight greenish nuances; the bouquet is rich and and intense, with elegant hydrocarbon scents and a pleasant mineral note. The sip is soft, savoury and very pleasant in the mouth. We recommend it in combination with pasta and vegetables, grilled fish or fresh cheese.

All along Oddero family is owner of vineyards, so it is very difficult to establish a precise beginning of the wine making process. Lorenzo and Luigi started to produce wine at the end of 800, starting from their vineyards of La Morra. Giacomo Oddero, grandfather of the present manager of this cave, took part of the International Exposition of Torino in 1991, where he proposed his Barolo wine. Presently the winery is carried on by Mariacristina and Mariavittoria, who have inherited by their father the cult of wine and its origins.
