The term **Satèn** identifies an exclusive Franciacorta DOCG style, produced exclusively from white grapes and characterized by a lower bottle pressure than other Franciacorta wines. This unique feature gives the wine a softer mousse, an exceptionally delicate perlage, and an extraordinarily creamy, silky mouthfeel, from which the name “Satèn” is derived, inspired by the softness of satin. Produced predominantly from Chardonnay grapes carefully selected from certified vineyards in Franciacorta, Vintage Collection Satèn 2021 is the result of a rigorous winemaking process designed to enhance both the purity of the grape variety and the character of the vintage. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a slow secondary fermentation and extended ageing on its own lees in bottle, developing remarkable complexity, harmony, and finesse. In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow color with golden reflections, enhanced by an exceptionally fine, delicate, and persistent perlage. The bouquet is elegant and enveloping, offering aromas of ripe citrus fruits, white peach, Golden Delicious apple, and white flowers, accompanied by notes of brioche, pastry, fresh almond, and subtle mineral nuances. On the palate, it captivates with its velvety, creamy texture, supported by balanced freshness and refined minerality. The sip is harmonious, smooth, and persistent, leading to an elegant finish that echoes the fruity and floral sensations perceived on the nose.
