Barbera d'Asti docg Superiore Bricco Paradiso Il Falchetto 2016

The Barbera d'Asti Superiore “Bricco Paradiso” of the Il Falchetto winery is a red wine produced only in the best vintages. Considered one of the best red wines of Piedmont, it has a nice thick and impenetrable ruby color while at the nose it develops notes of cherry, blackberry and raspberry, crossed by mint and coffee hints. The taste is full, enveloping and well balanced. Persistent and with an interminable aftertaste, it is perfect to drink with important dishes of game or paired with seasoned cheeses.

The Il Falchetto winery is located in Santo Stefano Belbo and its origins date back to 1600’s. Today the company is managed by the brothers Giorgio, Fabrizio and Adriano Forno and comprises three estates in the province of Cuneo, in the area of Santo Stefano Belbo and Castiglione Tinella, and three estates in the province of Asti, in the area of Agliano Terme and Calosso. The philosophy of the winery is that to produce wines of high quality and to guarantee customers to find in each bottle the maximum expression of the wine. The winery Il Falchetto cultivates nine different varieties of wines, some typical of the territory and some international.
