Langhe doc Pinot Nero Deltetto 2016

Red wine with great personality, it shows an intense ruby red colour and it offers an intense bouquet that emanates perfumes of mature red fruit, currant, raspberry, jam and blueberry, together with spices. This wine is endowed with body and important structure, while the taste has a good softness and a great persistence. These characteristics make it perfect in combination with salami’s platters, second courses of meats, first courses with tomato sauce and fresh or seasoned cheeses.

Since 1953 the Deltetto cave produces high quality wines of Langa and Roero. It is settled in Canale and established by Carlo Deltetto: the philosophy of the cave has as purpose the respect of nature and of the great Piedmont’s tradition of wine. Now the winery is managed by the son of Carlo, Antonio, together with his wife Graziella and their sons Carlo, Cristina and Claudia. There is a various and complete production, which includes red wines of the tradition as Roero Braja, Barolo Sistaglia, Barbera Rocca delle Marasche, and Barbera Bramè, but also white wines typical of Roero as Arneis San Michele, Arneis Daivei and Favorita Servaj.
