More info

The passito Bric du Liun of Deltetto winery takes its name to the peak of the Leone hill. From here the white grapes come from, which are left to overripe in the vineyard and to wither in small wooden boxes. Thanks to another maturation of 6 months in oak barrels, you can get a raisin wine with a beautiful golden yellow colour. At nose you can smell fresh fragrances of ripe fruit, honey and dry pastries. Persistent and balanced in the mouth, it is a fantastic wine for meditation, which gives its best if drunk in combination with aged cheeses.

Manufacturer

Deltetto

Since 1953 the Deltetto cave produces high quality wines of Langa and Roero. It is settled in Canale and established by Carlo Deltetto: the philosophy of the cave has as purpose the respect of nature and of the great Piedmont’s tradition of wine. Now the winery is managed by the son of Carlo, Antonio, together with his wife Graziella and their sons Carlo, Cristina and Claudia. There is a various and complete production, which includes red wines of the tradition as Roero Braja, Barolo Sistaglia, Barbera Rocca delle Marasche, and Barbera Bramè, but also white wines typical of Roero as Arneis San Michele, Arneis Daivei and Favorita Servaj.
