More info

The Pinot Bianco of Jermann is made with grapes that come from Collio region in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

It has a good shiny straw yellow with golden reflexes. The aroma is intense and persistent, fresh and fruity, with apple, pear and cantaloupe scents.

The taste is equilibrate and dry, with a good softness and persistence. This wine is perfect if drunk with traditional Friuli Venezia Giulia courses, fish first courses, seafood soup, Venetian pasta with beans, white meats and fresh cheeses.

Manufacturer

In 1881 Anton Jermann, creator of this cave, decided to abandon the Austrian land of Burgenland and his estates in Slovenia, because he wanted to move to Friuli Venezia Giulia. Nowadays the cave is managed by Anton’s niece, Silvio, and the estate covers 150 hectares of white vineyards: the most important of them produces Vinnae, a type of wine created in 1983, that derives from the typical territory of Collio. Vinnae is a fresh and well-balanced wine, which respects all the characteristics of its soil. But the success of this winery derives from two kind of red wines , too: The Pignacolousse and the Mjzzu Blau&Blau.
