Passito di Pigato doc Vio Giobatta 2018

The Passito of Pigato of the winery Vio Giobatta is a passito wine produced with Pigato grapes grown with organic methods in the Riviera Ligure di Ponente. The shoots are cut and the grapes are then dried slowly, under careful control. With a beautiful golden yellow color, in the nose it develops an intense and persistent bouquet, with pleasant fruity hints of dried fruit and honey. In the mouth it is characterized by a balanced structure and a pleasing crispness on the finish. The Passito of Pigato of Vio Giobatta is perfect to drink after dinner in combination with dry pastries or dark chocolate, or to accompany blue cheeses.

In the last few years, the winery Biovio, managed by Mr. Giobatta Vio,has made its way into the Italian wine panorama, thanks to its organic and traditional methods of cultivation.

The demaine was founded in the 1980 in the heart of Liguriahinterland.

Its philosophy is to preserve the artisanal methods of making wines and to concentrate its production on Vermentino and Pigato, that are the traditional wines of the Liguria region.
