Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta nuova by Casanova di Neri si a sumptuous and complex red wine, considered as one of the best Tuscany wines always awarded with the highest recognitions by Wine Spectator or Rober Parker critics. It is made with 100% Sangiovese grapes harvested near Montalcino, in South-East exposure. The vineyard has a unique terroir, able to gift the wine such delicate floral hints, fruity aromas and some persistent and evolved notes. The wine rests in oak barrels for 36 months and spends further 6 months in bottle. In the glass, it is bright ruby red with garnet shades. The bouquet is intense, deep, with notes of red berries, cherry, balsamic herbs. In the mouth, it is enveloping, full-bodied, sapid; the tannins are elegant and velvety. The extraordinary ageing potential makes Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova by Casanova di Neri highly recommended with stuffed or grilled red meat, game, matured cheese.
The Casanova di Neri winery was founded by Giovanni Neri in 1971; he was a great wine lover who bought an estate in the Montalcino area and immediately began to enhance the potential of this territory. The wines produced by the Casanova di Neri winery are unique wines known all over the world, thanks mainly to the careful work in the vineyard and the precision of the production process, which takes place with the utmost respect for the grapes quality. The characteristics and peculiarities of each single vineyard can be found in the wines of Casanova di Neri.The company currently owns 63 hectares of vines distributed in the territory of Montalcino, divided into 5 estates: Pietradonica, Le Centine, Cerretalto, Fiesole and Podernuovo, all grown following strict biological criteria, in full respect of nature, environment and ecosystem.
