More info

The Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva Costasera by Masi is the result of the authoritative mastery of the drying technique of Masi. Complex and aristocratic red wine, it is made with a blend of native grapes of Valpolicella, Corvina, Rondinella, Molinare and Oseleta, grown in vineyards overlooking Lake Garda taking advantage of its light and its microclimate. When the bunches are perfectly ripe they are harvested by hand and left to dry on bamboo racks for about 120 days. An aging in noble woods for at least three years follows. The Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva Costasera is a point of reference for Italian Amarones. It shows a very deep and intense dark red color. The nose reveals a large and complex bouquet, with sensations of overripe red fruit, cooked fruit on a background of sweet spices, cloves and cinnamon. On the palate it is well structured and persuasive, with a pleasant freshness and silky tannins. With a long and dry finish, the Amarone Riserva Costasera by Masi is perfect to drink in combination with roasted or braised red meats, game and aged cheeses. Wine with excellent aging potential, It is best enjoyed at the meal.
