Barbaresco docg Serraboella Cigliuti Renato 2015

The Barbaresco Serraboella of Cigliutti is an elegant and refined Barbaresco wine, produced with selected Nebbiolo grapes; the wine shows a ruby red colour, while the bouquet is a various one, with some fruited and floral hints of violet, spices and vanilla. The taste is a rich, charming and persistent one, at the same time noble and well-structured. Thanks to its features, this wine accompanies platters based on red meat, game and platters based on seasoned cheeses.

The cave occupies a wonderful position on the Bricco of Neive, in the centre of Barbaresco: in this area, Renato Cigliuti, together with his two daughters Claudia and Silvia, produces a variety of red wines, that are the most characteristic of the denomination, as the Nebbiolo wine. In reality, this cave has not change its aspect compared with 50 years ago, when Renato started to produce wines. All this because, according to Renato’s vision, the instruments are not important, but what is really essential is the soil and the man that cultivates it.
