Description

Timorasso 2024 by Braida is produced in the Colli Tortonesi area from 100% Timorasso grapes. Following gentle pressing, the wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation and is aged for approximately 12 months in concrete tanks on its fine lees, gaining complexity and depth. In the glass, it displays a deep straw-yellow color with golden highlights. The bouquet is elegant and multifaceted, offering aromas of ripe citrus fruits, white flowers, aromatic herbs, and flint, supported by a pronounced mineral character that can evolve into the distinctive hydrocarbon notes typical of aged Timorasso. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, driven by vibrant freshness and marked salinity that enhance its length and persistence. Its aging potential is estimated at 8–15 years, during which the wine develops further complexity while maintaining balance and finesse. Braida’s Timorasso pairs exceptionally well with shellfish, richly flavored fish dishes, risottos, white meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
