Ripe al Convento Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is one of the most prestigious wines produced by the historic Marchesi Frescobaldi family at the renowned CastelGiocondo estate, in the heart of the Montalcino territory. This label is produced only in the best vintages from Sangiovese grapes grown in a small vineyard beautifully exposed on the highest hills of the estate. It represents the most refined and long-lived expression of Brunello signed by Frescobaldi, a wine capable of combining power, elegance, and extraordinary aromatic complexity. In the glass it shows a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is broad and complex, with aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, and plum, accompanied by elegant notes of sweet spices, tobacco, cocoa, and licorice, enriched by balsamic hints and nuances of undergrowth.On the palate it is structured, enveloping, and harmonious, with dense yet silky tannins and a vibrant freshness that leads to a long, persistent, and very elegant finish.
