The Schaupp of Schweitzer winery is a white wine produced with Chardonnay grapes grown in the Merano area, in vineyards that enjoy a privileged position as regards the exposure. In the glass it has a nice, bright pale yellow color; the bouquet is floral, fruity and mineral with clear notes of apple. The mouthfeel is elegant and fine, with a touch of acidity. It is an ideal wine to drink chilled as an aperitif, or in combination with pasta with on vegetables, fish courses or sushi.

Manufacturer

The Schweitzer estate is located in the Tirolo area, near too Merano, at an altitude of about 450m; it is managed by the enologist Martin Aurich who work is internationally recognized. The name of the vineyard of Schweitzer estate, called “Tschaupp”, comes from the medieval term which means “looks”. In fact, the Schweitzer estate enjoys a privileged position, with different thermal and solar exposures: from this comes that more harvests will take place in different periods and that the wine produced will have different characteristics.
