The Barolo Castelletto of Castello di Perno winery is an excellent red wine produced with the best Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Castelletto vineyard in Monforte d'Alba. The wine has a beautiful ruby red color with garnet reflections, while in the nose it develops an intense and elegant scent, with fruity hints of red plum and violet. Wine with an excellent aging potential, in the mouth it is mineral, tannic, wide, balanced, full bodied, characterized by an excellent persistence and aromas of blackberry. The Barolo Castelletto of Castello di Perno is perfect to drink in combination with main courses of red meat, such as roasts or grilled meat, or tajarin with meat sauce and aged cheeses.

Castello di Perno

The Castello di Perno winery has been located since 2013 in Castelletto, in the heart of the Barolo production area in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, in the hills of Perno and Serralunga d'Alba.
It is a winery that produces elegant and quality wines, in which both traditional style and modern vision coexist, interpreting tradition using  and experimenting innovative and avant-garde techniques. After careful work in the vineyard and careful manual selection of the best grapes, the vinification process takes place in large concrete tanks trying to preserve the specific characteristics of each terroir. The wines produced are extremely fine and territorial, perfectly recognizable and balanced.
