Cuvée Valentina Nature Alta Langa docg Bel Colle 2019

The Alta Langa Cuvée Valentina Nature by Bel Colle is a Pas Dosé classic method sparkling wine obtained with 95% Pinot Noir grapes and 5% Chardonnay grapes. After a first fermentation of the bunches for 60% in steel and 40% in French Allier Tonneau, the refermentation in bottle takes place for 60 days. The refinement in the bottle with selected yeasts follows for at least 48 months. At sight, it has a beautiful straw yellow color with golden reflections and fine and persistent bubbles. The nose is striking for its clear and clean bouquet, accompanied by hints of white flowers, white-fleshed peach and plums, bread crust on the finish. In the mouth, it is mineral and sapid, with a pleasant persistence and length. The Alta Langa Cuvée Valentina Nature by Bel Colle is ideal to drink chilled as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood appetizers, raw fish and shellfish.

The Bel Colle winery was founded 45 years ago by two brothers Franco and Carlo Pontiglione and Giuseppe Priola. Since 2015, the company has become the property of the Bosio family, native of Santo Stefano Belbo, who renewed the technologies of the winery, without giving up the tradition. The Belcolle winery owns vineyards in the best crus of the hills of Verduno and La Morra and it practices sustainable viticulture, followed by the manual harvest and the soft pressing of the bunches. The wines produced by the company are distinguished by their balance and freshness.
