The Roero Arneis DOCG Sarun by Nino Costa is produced in the heart of the Roero, in Montà d’Alba, from 100% Arneis grapes grown in the Sarun vineyard, from which the wine takes its name. It is a Piedmontese white wine that expresses the character of the territory through freshness, softness, savouriness and a distinctive mineral character. The vineyard is located on the hills of Montà, in an area characterised by the typical soils of the Roero. Fermentation and ageing in stainless steel preserve the freshness and aromatic expression of the Arneis, allowing the natural identity of the grape variety to shine through. On the nose, Sarun Roero Arneis offers aromas of pear, grapefruit and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is warm and soft, with a pleasant savoury character and a mineral finish. Roero Arneis Sarun is a versatile wine, ideal as an aperitif and particularly well suited to appetisers, seafood, fish, shellfish and cheeses. Its savoury and mineral character also makes it an excellent match for delicate first courses and fish-based dishes.
