Bardot Barbera d’alba doc Nino Costa 2022

The Barbera d'Alba Bardot by the Nino Costa winery is a pleasantly fresh and fragrant red wine, produced with 100% Barbera grapes produced on the gentle hills of Montà, in the heart of Roero region. The wine has a beautiful ruby red color and in the nose it develops fruity hints of cherry. The taste is crisp, soft, well balanced and slightly tannic. The Barbera Bardot by Nino Costa is perfect to drink in combination with classic courses of the Piedmontese tradition, such as tajarin with meat sauce, veal with tuna sauce and bollito misto with sauces.

The Stefanino Costa winery is located in the small district of Montà, in the heart of Roero region. The winery is an excellent expression of the territory playing with joy on the refinement of details. The wines produced are mainly those typical of the territory, such as Arneis and Roero, all characterized by a right sugar and alcohol content and good acidity that contributes to enhance and maintain aromas over time. Currently the company is carried on by Alessandro Costa, the son of Nino Costa, who has undertaken the renovation of the company by changing the structure, the process, the refinement and the image since the 2009.
