The Valdobbiadene Extra Dry by Col Vetoraz is an elegant and fine prosecco, very refreshing, produced with Glera grapes from the exclusive territory of Valdobbiadene. It presents itself with a beautiful bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections and a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it develops elegant and delicate aromas, floral and fruity, with notes of white peach, pear, and apple, white flowers, jasmine, and chamomile. In the mouth, it is dry and savory, harmonious and delicate, well-balanced. The Valdobbiadene Extra Dry by Col Vetoraz is perfect to be enjoyed chilled as an aperitif or paired with appetizers based on shellfish and mollusks, seafood risottos, delicate dishes from Mediterranean cuisine.
The Valdobbiadene Prosecco is produced by this cave on the hills between Valdobbiadene and Cornegliano, in the area of Treviso. This kind of wine is very old and it goes back up the previous period of the Roman colonization. In 1838 Miotto family settled in the Col Vetoraz locality, by developing a production of Valdobbiadene and Cartizze. In 1993 Francesco Miotto, the heir of this family, has created, together with other three businessman, the present Col Vetoraz. Nowadays this cave is famous in the whole world, especially for the production of Valdobbiadene, that is its peculiarity.
