Petite Arvine DOP Les Cretes 2012

Fresh and clear white wine, its name derives from the little grapes wich compose the bunch. It owns a light straw-yellow colour with green reflexes, while its perfume presents a soft bouquet with scent of citrus, pineapple, apple and passion fruit. Well balanced and sapid, this wine is fruity and persisten. Served fresh, it’s perfect in combination with fish appetizers, white meat and cheese.

Les Cretes winery arises in Aymavilles, thanks to the Charrère family, that represents the fifth generation. The vineyards extend in an area of 25 hectares, divided in 6 different districts at the foot of the Monte Bianco (Saint-Pierre, Aymavilles, Gressan, Sarre, Aosta and Saint-Christophe) and they are cultivated, for some morphological (high inclines) and historical (hereditary succession) reasons, to an elevation of 600-800 m s.l.m.. The soils, sandy and drained, of drumlin origins, present a strong mineral element. The fresh and elegant wines express the essence of the mountain terroir. The management of vineyards, above all manual, has as purpose a minimum use of topdressing, as it is expressed for the fighting to the environmental conservation.
