The Barolo Riserva Runcot of Elio Grasso is a red wine fine and elegant. With an intense ruby red color, this wine shows an elegant and composite bouquet, with fruited scents of red fruit, blackberries and raspberries, in addition to pepper, juniper, licorice and coffee notes. The taste is rich, thick and full, well structured and persistent. This Barolo is perfect if drunk with cured meats, roasted or stuffed red meat, game and aging cheeses.

The Elio Grasso winery was founded in Monforte d'Alba, in a region with a strong oenological vocation, in the heart of the production area of the king of wines: the Barolo. First of all, Elio and his family love to define themselves as "peasants", to reaffirm the importance of the "earth" as an absolute value. Starting from 1978, thanks to the diversification of production between Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto and Chardonnay, the winery produces 90000 bottles every year.
