Grappa "Rossj-bass" Gaja

This grappa Rossi Bass of Gaja is produced with Chardonnay marcs and it shows a transparent and clear colour. Its smell expresses enchanting and soft aromas, with pleasant sensations of fresh flowers. The taste is soft, elegant and pleasantly aromatic.

The cave was built in 1859 in Barbaresco, in the centre of the Langhe, and all along it is recognized as one of the name-symbol in the production of Barbaresco. From the creator Giovanni to Angelo Gaja, this family has earned a great reputation in wine’s sector thanks to its attentive pursuit of quality. In the 60s years Angelo Gaja has decided to innovate the traditions and to import new productive techniques: from the destruction of the production for hectare to a greater control of fermentation temperatures, from the use of the barrique to the replacement of longer tops. The past as experience, the future as purpose: this is the philosophy of this successful winery.
