Alta Langa docg Blanc de Noirs Nature Deltetto Riserva 2018

The Alta Langa Blanc de Noir by Deltetto is an elegant and fine classic method sparkling wine, produced with 100% Pinot Noir grapes. The first fermentation takes place in used French oak barriques while the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the classic method. After an aging on its lees in the bottle for at least 42 months, it shows a beautiful intense straw yellow color, accompanied by a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is striking for its broad and complex bouquet, on which aromas of bread crust and buttery brioches stand out. On the palate it is broad and structured, dry and bold, with a strong personality and a very long finish. The Alta Langa Blanc de Noir by Deltetto is perfect to drink in combination with grilled shellfish, fine cured meats, red meats and hard cheeses.

Since 1953 the Deltetto cave produces high quality wines of Langa and Roero. It is settled in Canale and established by Carlo Deltetto: the philosophy of the cave has as purpose the respect of nature and of the great Piedmont’s tradition of wine. Now the winery is managed by the son of Carlo, Antonio, together with his wife Graziella and their sons Carlo, Cristina and Claudia. There is a various and complete production, which includes red wines of the tradition as Roero Braja, Barolo Sistaglia, Barbera Rocca delle Marasche, and Barbera Bramè, but also white wines typical of Roero as Arneis San Michele, Arneis Daivei and Favorita Servaj.
