More info

The Trento doc of Ress winery  is an excellent classic method sparkling wine produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, which are vinified for at least 9 months in French oak barrels, and then assembled with a part aged in steel. After aging for at least 30 months in a cave at constant temperature, this Trento doc expresses a fine, persistent and elegant perlage and a beautiful yellow color with light green reflections. Its bouquet is fragrant, fruity with hints of white fruit such as apple and notes of citrus and honey. The Trento doc of Ress winery is an elegant wine that goes perfectly with fresh fish courses, platters of mature cow’s cheeses, fried fish and white meat.

Manufacturer

Ress

Marco Ress worked outside the province as a consultant until 2013. After the sudden death of his mother, he decided to return to the family business where together with his father Luigi and his brother Franco he began to produce Trento DOC in only two types: Brut and Rosè. The winery, located in San Michele all'Adige is very impressive: it is created in a cave, once used as a refuge during the Second World War. Here the temperature is kept constant all year round and the environment is particularly suitable for the refinement of this type of wine. The philosophy of Marco and Franco Ress is to produce wines of the highest quality and value, which can be differentiated by their characteristics from the other sparkling wines of the Trentino area.
