After the vinification in steel tanks, it is refined in oak barrels for a year. The colour is ruby red and the nose is fruity with notes of violet, cherry, ,Mediterranean herbs. Manufacturer

Bucci family comes from Montecarotto, a town within Castelli di Jesi area in Marche. They are devoted to agriculture as far back as 1700. Vineyards cover about 31 hectares, whose 25 allocated to produce Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC and 6 to produce Rosso Piceno DOC, made up of Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes. The yearly production counts 700 quintals of Verdicchio and 300 quintals of Rosso Piceno: the whole income comes from the property vineyards only. Bucci is famous for extra-virgin oil, too. Both vineyards and olive tree groves are cultivated using biological techniques for more than 20 years. The winery also owns 350 hectares where durum and soft wheat, corn, sugar beets, peas, seeds and sunflowers are cultured.
