Champagne Brut Grand Millesimé Gosset 2004

Excellent Brut Millesimato Champagne wine which presents a wonderful straw yellow colour with some green nuances, that are typical of Chardonnay wine. It owns a refined and intense bouquet with scents of white flowers and mature white fruit, in addition to some light memories of citrus fruit and vanilla. The wine is really soft, complex and it includes a full and complex taste, endowed with pleasant freshness and persistence, with perfumes of green apple, citrus fruit, pineapple, honey and white flowers. Thanks to these features this wine is perfect if served as appetizer, or in combination with platters based on fish. Eventually, this Champagne wine is perfect for important events.

The building of this winery goes back up 1584, when Pierre Gosset founded it in Ay, because he wanted to produce wines. The first wines produced by the cave were addressed to kings and princes. The management of the property has been passed from father to son for 14 generations, and all along the Gosset Champagne derives from a particular selection of grapes and above all from the detailed procedures of bottling. The purpose of this cave is to express, through the wine, the nobility of this territory.
