Description

Lux Vitis by Tenuta Luce di Marchesi Frescobaldi is an exceptional red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from a vineyard planted in Montalcino in 2004, with a small portion of Sangiovese added. First produced in 2015, it is aged in new French oak barriques for 24 months before being released. It boasts a beautiful intense ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals a rich and complex bouquet, wide and fruity, characterized by notes of red currant, blackberry, and mulberry, accompanied by hints of juniper and thyme, with sweet tobacco on the finish. On the palate, it is well-balanced, with good freshness and elegant, enveloping tannins. With a long and persistent finish that is pleasantly fresh, Lux Vitis Tenuta Luce by Marchesi Frescobaldi pairs perfectly with flavorful dishes, roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses.
