More info

The Barolo Vignarionda of Ettore Germano winery is an elegant red wine produced with 100% of Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Vignarionda cru, that is one of the most famous and historic of Serralunga d'Alba, as well as one of the most famous in the Barolo production area. With a beautiful bright garnet red color, in the nose it develops a complex and fruity bouquet, with hints of red fruit such as strawberry and cherry. In the mouth it has a good structure, it is powerful, elegant, full-bodied and tannic on the final. The Barolo Vignarionda of Ettore Germano is perfect to drink in combination with tasty main courses of meat, such as baked duck or roast veal, or with aged hard cheese.

Manufacturer

The winery Ettore Germano has very deep roots, as when the great grandfather Francesco and grandfather Alberto, began to produce small quantities of wine and to sell the grapes, which was the predominant activity in Serralunga at the time. The Alberto's son, Hector, so continued the work of his father and grandfather, becoming a skilled grafter and buying some neighboring plots with their property. The turning for the winery was given by the son of Hector, Sergio which began working with his family buying other small plots of land and making the first Chardonnay plant.
