Description

Barolo by Bartolo Mascarello  is a prestigious wine, a true legend of Piedmontese winemaking, renowned worldwide. Produced with strict adherence to tradition, this Barolo is the result of a careful blend of hand-harvested Nebbiolo grapes from several vineyards located in the Cannubi, San Lorenzo, and Rué areas in Barolo, as well as the Rocche cru in La Morra. After a long maceration and aging in large Slavonian oak casks, it reveals in the glass a captivating garnet red color with subtle orange hues. The bouquet is complex and floral, offering notes of ripe fruit, wild berries, blackberries, dried rose, and violet. On the palate, it is elegant and refined, deep and austere, with an intriguing tannic structure. Characterized by a long, savory, and mineral-driven finish, Barolo by Bartolo Mascarello pairs beautifully with roasted or braised meat dishes and game. Also excellent as a meditation wine, Barolo by Bartolo Mascarello has the potential to evolve beautifully in the bottle for 20 to 30 years.
